Modulo is a golf GPS application that displays distances to the front, middle, and back of the green, together with basic hole information. Modulo is an informational aid only.
These Terms of Use supplement the Lank Chilled (Pty) Ltd Master Terms of Service, which continue to apply. Where they differ, these Terms take precedence in respect of Modulo.
Distances shown by Modulo are estimates calculated from GPS and stored course data. They may be inaccurate as a result of GPS signal, device limitations, weather, or errors in course data.
Modulo does not guarantee the accuracy of any distance or course information. You remain responsible for your own club selection, shots, and play, and should use your own judgement.
Course data, including green positions and hole information, is drawn from third-party sources and from data contributed by users, and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. Modulo does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of course data.
If you report or contribute a correction to course data, you grant Lank Chilled a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, store, reproduce, and incorporate that contribution into Modulo and its course data. You confirm that you are entitled to share it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You are responsible for your own safety and conduct on the golf course, including compliance with course rules, pace of play, and the safety of others. Do not use the app in a manner that distracts you from your surroundings.
Lank Chilled is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute arising from your play or your presence on any course.
Modulo may be used on a limited trial basis. Full features are unlocked by a one-off, lifetime purchase made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. This is a once-off purchase and not a subscription.
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their refund policies. Refund requests must be made to Apple or Google in accordance with their terms. Lank Chilled is not able to process refunds for store purchases directly.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Modulo for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the Master Terms of Service.
All intellectual property rights in Modulo, including its name, design, and software, remain the property of Lank Chilled or its licensors. Unauthorised use of Modulo branding is prohibited.
Modulo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Lank Chilled is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on distances or course data provided by Modulo.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lank Chilled (Pty) Ltd from any claims, losses, damages, or costs arising from your misuse of Modulo or breach of these Terms.
